 There are dozens of high-profile efforts to persuade students to stay in the traditional school.
 Dave in BOYINABAND has come up with a simple message:  Don't Stay in a place where you are bored.  


Look for a place where you can learn something useful.


Dave has a good point.  Saying "Stay in a boring place because there is no alternative" is not what teens need to hear.   Students want to go to a cool "discovery zone" where they can explore their talents and gain skills that are useful to their interests.   Oh, gee, it sounds like a Big Picture School or a classroom where Dennis Yuzenas or Matt Blazek or Enrique Gonzalez have taught...
